Process Engineering

Process Engineering forms the most critical part of any engineering project. Many a times the existing manual process gives a great insight for automation. The well thought off process engineered phase results in rich rewards during the final commissioning phase. It not only assists in selecting the most suitable equipment but also the time spent in process engineering during initial phase of the projects help in providing best possible solution. RESOL team with its rich experience, assists in process engineering in the following areas:

Mechanical Design: To design for modularity and easy manufacturability which provides for reduction of manufacturing, assembly and installation time and cost. Superlative tooling (guns, grippers, bells, jigs) concepts for sequential part assembly enabling quality assurance of end-product

Process Design: To eliminate bottle necks in terms of material flow, in-plant vehicular/ human movement and transfer systems for inbound and outbound parts. Optimum space utilization, operator safety, process design considering provisions for future model addition, validation and selection of the best available process applications

Cycle time Estimation: Cycle time estimation considering multi model production, batch and mixed production, cycle time assessment of peripheral equipments like shuttle, skids, presses, grippers and vacuum systems and application process time which include welding, painting, sealing and material handling. The process engineering phase enables realistic time estimation before the actual design phase

Control System Design: To chalk out the control system logic considering all above processes like mechanical design, process design and cycle time estimation enhances the overall capability of the system. Integration of inadvertent- error prevention or poke yoke during this phase makes the system design simple and well defined
